自从五四爱国运动以来,我们百年探索富国之路,注重了经济和科技,而对自己优秀传统文化失去了自信,或者说自信不够,所以重视不够,发扬不足,有传承断层之危险;新中国成立以来,人才的缺乏,文化传承的断层,为了跟随西方教育理念,导致现在全国中医药大学采用的各种中医教材,全部是学西医编写出来,表面上用中医词汇和术语,但是内在思维方式,以及对这些术语理解和解释概念,都是西医系统的,西医思维。并且用西医思想指导考核中医标准,殊不知中医与西医思维方式大相径庭,因而影响着中医的发展广大。

咸,主要用来通便,泻下及软坚散结,常用来治疗有肿块症状的疾病,也可消除痰火结核等;

涩,与酸味中药类似的功用;

淡,利尿,对于水肿,小便不利疾病有功效;

苦,有泻火解毒和化湿作用;
